A New Initiative for Nambucca High
Nambucca Heads High School has created a Jnr Lands Council who has begun working on the implementation of a new park and playground in Bellwood. This is a state first initiative in NSW, were a Jnr Land Council has been formed within a NSW High School.
This new group is being mentored by well known local Architect, Mr. Alan Rudge and Mr. Clarrie Hoskins from Nambucca Heads High School. Mr Rudge will be guiding and offering his architectural advice and experience in matters of council regulations, legalities, the development of site plans, budget requirements, community liaison and many other aspects necessary when creating a new community development.
This is a great opportunity for students to learn all aspects that are required for a new development proposal and to see the benefits the final outcome will bring to their local community.
